The Potter’s House is a student ministry located near the Missouri State campus. Potter’s House serves thousands of college students in the Springfield area from all over the country and the world. Being able to offer the cheapest coffee and smoothie drinks in town allows us to have a draw specifically for college kids. The next step in our ministry is making sure students have a positive and memorable experience by engaging them in conversation. Most students come to the university and feel like just another student among tens of thousands. But by recognizing them as a person, and not just another customer, makes them feel like they have a special place where people care about them. From there we continue to invest in the lives of students, becoming a family away from home and helping them through this formative time in their life through group studies and discipleship.
